Content
In winter semester, four working groups in the field of teaching "Software engineering and programming"
host a joint seminar. The goal of the seminar is to give the students the opportunity
to get acquainted with the research fields of these groups.
Schedule and Deadlines
General meetings:
- 27.10.2008 (Monday) 17:00:
Kickoff meeting and second stage topic allocation in room 32-439. A short introduction to each free topic will be given by the assigned supervisor. All students should attend.
Term paper deadlines:
- 24.11.2008 (Monday) 12:00: Deadline: Annotated table of contents
- 05.01.2009 (Monday) 12:00:
Deadline: Preliminary version of term paper
- 12.01.2009 (Monday) 12:00:
Deadline: Review of two other term papers
- 26.01.2009 (Monday) 12:00:
Deadline: Revised version of term paper
Presentation slides deadlines:

Preliminary slides: 3 days before the presentation

Final version of slides: 1 day before the presentation
The presentations will take place at the following dates: 02.02.2009, 06.02.2009 and 09.02.2009.
All of the material marked by
has to be sent as PDF files by e-mail before the corresponding deadline to Yannick Welsch. You should also send a copy to your supervisor.
Please also note that all deadlines are hard deadlines.
General Remarks
Successful participation in the seminar requires:
Term paper (preliminary and revised version)
- Approximately ten pages (excluding title page, table of contents, references, figures)
